Deviled eggs:
Boil the eggs for 10-12 minutes (remember you don't start counting the minutes until the water is actuall boiling--you can either put the eggs in from the start or after it starts boiling. If you put them in AFTER it is boiling, be careful and use a slotted spoon or something and gently lower them in. Then be SURE you cool them off with hot water IMMEDIATELY after they're done, and keep them in the cold water a short while til they're cooled enough to peel. Then, smack the center of the egg on a hard surface and roll to get a nice easy way to peel them, hoping to take ALL the shell with that membrane under it, and not have to PICK it off. Then slice in half longwise, set whites aside; put yolks in a bowl with mustard and mayo as discussed, beat the mixture mercilessly to break up all the yoke, then stuff back into the halves. Paprika is a nice topping, salt and pepper are essential. (preferably cracked from a mill pepper) If you have a rubber spatula, that helps to get all the delicious yolk mixture out of the bowl. Chop very fine and add if you like, parsley, spring onions, etc. If you have some fresh pesto, you can add a bit of that, or curry powder, etc., if you're seeking a "different" taste.
Blog plagiarizer!
Escuzi? I got permission AND I gave you a link. What part of "Please accept this picture as a token of my remorse" do you not understand?
I hope you choke on your freakin' eggs.
Nice link though.
Aw geez, guess what? Looks like I can't choke on my eggs because they're all gone because everyone gobbled them all up because they were so freaking awesome they couldn't help themselves!
They were admittedly pretty good. I was pretty drunk.
