Ridin' that train
Had a great subway ride this morning. The conductor would spice up the usual rote announcements about all the things you can't do on the train (can't drink, can't smoke...what can you do?) with the sort of patter you would expect from a morning DJ on a soul station from 1972. He told us all how good we looked this morning and how much he liked to see us smile. He mentioned how luck we were to be riding the "express to success" that day and wished us all well at our jobs downtown. It was like being driven to work by Samuel L. Jackson's Mister SenĂ²r Love Daddy character from Do The Right Thing.

This is dope, I was hoping you would start writing more about being a frequent user of the LA public transportation system...
What a great way to start the day!
